Following changes to the organisational structure of FTV Prima, spol. s r. o., the composition of the Board of Directors of the Association of Commercial Television (AKTV) is also changing. Prima Media Group will now be represented on the Board by Aleš Pýcha from Prima SOLOOTIONS s.r.o., replacing Marek Singer. Klára Brachtlová will also succeed Marek Singer as President of AKTV, acting under a power of attorney granted by the Board of Directors.

The five-member Board of Directors of AKTV, which serves as the Association's statutory body and oversees its activities, continues to consist of two members nominated by TV Nova, two representatives of FTV Prima and one representative of Stanice O. Nova Media Group is represented on the Board by Klára Brachtlová, Deputy CEO & Chief External Affairs of CME Media Group, and Štěpán Peichl, Managing Director and Head of the Legal Department at TV Nova. “Since its establishment, AKTV has become an important and respected stakeholder in a number of areas. I would like to build on its achievements to date and contribute to its further development, particularly in our priority areas, such as copyright protection and the promotion of television as an advertising medium,”

says newly appointed Board member Aleš Pýcha.

Changes are also taking place at the management level of AKTV. After nearly ten years, Secretary Marie Fianová has decided to conclude her work with the Association. From November, she will be succeeded as Executive Director by Jana Břeská, who brings experience from public administration, the Association for Internet Development, and the digital industry.

“We would like to thank Marie for her hard work and the energy she has devoted to building AKTV and representing the interests of commercial broadcasters. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, we wish her every success in the next chapter of her career,”

adds Klára Brachtlová, member of the AKTV Board of Directors.
