Pavel Kubina spoke to MediaGuru about the commercial broadcasters' idea of changes in the placement of commercial messages on Czech TV.

The Nova TV group posted the highest year-on-year growth in the TV market in April and also achieved the highest share.

In March, the Nova group had the highest share in prime time. The Prima group improved year-on-year among the top three.

According to the data from the TV channels, viewers continue to sit in front of the screens most often in the evening, with only the rhythm of viewing during the week differing.

Czech Television stations remained the strongest in February in the universal 15+ group in all-day broadcasting. In prime time, the Nova group is still the leader. The Prima group grew the most year-on-year in prime-time in February.

The first month of the new year brought the highest share of viewership to Czech Television stations, Prima reached the second place.

The volume of ad GRPs delivered in the TV market also remained at a similar level in 2023 as a year earlier, monitoring data shows.

The position of the three strongest TV groups is balanced in full-day viewership of 15+. CT is followed by Prima (28.06%) and Nova (27.86%).
